Who Said That?
Where do all the weird sayings we use regularly come from? And do they really make any sense?
"Time flies" - I have never observed time flying.
"Shoot the S%&t - who ever shot that stuff?
"Look at the wind" - I've never seen that stuff.
"Crazy as the birds" - they may be smarter than humans.
"Sick as a dog" - most dogs handle sickness better than humans.
"Clean as a whistle" - Not clean if you have been blowing through it.
The list goes on...
