Read The Fine Print

As we get older our vision tends to degrade at a pretty steady pace. That has been a well know fact for years. Just about every aspect of our life is going through a change. New technology, new ways of doing things, making life faster and more easy. Or is it?

One of the most common complaints I hear is about the size of the print. All our newspapers now sport smaller sizes and smaller print. The digital read outs on phones, bank machines, cash registers and labels on products all have smaller print. Ever try to read an instruction manual these days. Fine print in 17 languages. A lot of seniors are having a tough time. And nobody cares. Remember we are all headed there some day.

As for me? Sometimes it is handy being a computer addict. I can adjust the print on this thing to any size I please. I am at the bottom end of the small scale, so I will be here to make comments like this for a few years yet.
