Rain

We have been getting lots of rain in Nova Scotia. For weeks it has been rain, rain, and more rain. Just a  micro-second sunny break here and there. If you blink with both eyes you will miss both of them.

Over my lifetime so far I have accomplished a lot of things. Airforce, large vehicle trainer, ran my own DJ business, pretty well mastered computers, web master of a couple sites, and so on.

rain Now today I was thinking I missed out on one. I could have been a meteorologist. It’s harder to spell the word that it is to predict the weather.

Around here all you have to do is step outside, and if you get wet, which you will, you predict rain. If you don’t get wet and it is kind of dull, cloudy with sunny periods will do it.  If it looks a little bright, sunny with cloudy periods cover that.

Oh yeah, if you step outside and then come back in and your hair is in a worse mess than when you went out, it is windy. No training, no experience, (keep the Farmers Almanac handy for back up).

And the long range forecast. More of the same with the overhead clouds parked in a circle. Maybe those old western movies had something in common we don’t know about.
