Parents Are Such Nice Children
A few days ago parents were screaming to the media because the school buses did not run. First they would not start because of the extreme cold, and then road conditions were less than ideal, and considered by some unsafe. Numerous people thought it was terrible that buses were not available to take their children to the baby sitting service - I'm sorry- to school.
Guess what - in another part of the province a couple days later buses were out. One bus slid off the road and rolled on its side, resulting in minor injuries to nine children. Now the parents are screaming - what the &*$$ are those buses out on the road in those kinds of conditions for?
No, I don't have children in school now, but I used to. And I don't remember hearing such ridiculous comments from parents then.
