Doggie-Doo
Many places including ours have bylaws saying you must clean up after your doggie. I see many dogs that have their humans out for a walk, and the human is dutifully carrying a bag in hand. However it is a rare occasion that I ever see anyone with a bag with anything in it. (Is this false advertising?) Sure, about one person out of 50 to 100 does the right thing. Some that do the right thing don't take the bag home, they stick it in a nearby tree or neighbor's bush. The rest - - -
We also have so called "green belts" where it is supposed to be a park type atmosphere where people can take a walk and enjoy nature. This is where our doggie doo friends take their pooches for their walks of exercise - the ones with bags and the ones without bags. Now tell me, what are they really taking them there for? That is if they make it past the end of your lawn.
So now that spring is just around the corner, go for a walk in our green belt areas, take a deep breath, get the smell of nature - - - and be sure to remove your boots before you go back into your home!
