Cheap Gas
On the suppertime news I watched a blurb on gas prices where in one of our areas people sat in line for up to two hours to get gas at 74.9 cents a litre instead of paying the 99.9 that is prevalent throughout metro.
Strangely, most of the vehicles sitting in the lineup were either large cars, SUVs or full size pickup trucks. And oddly enough most had the engines running.
Well folks I hope it made you feel better - because idling those engines for the length of the line up that was shown, would eat up more than you could ever save on a single fill up. Maybe our education system wasn't as good in the old days as some like to pretend to the younger ones today - For it wouldn't take much mathematics to figure that out. At least you generated a traffic hazard to keep other drivers awake.
