Teen Dance As Expected

Wink: Always remember you are unique, just like everyone else.

The schools here won't allow teen dances anymore, so a local DJ company took over and ran one to prove that teens can have fun and behave. They are not all bad.

So the headline in the papers ran the title of this blog.

There were no problems other than a drinking soul or two in the parking lot. No problems E-X-C-E-P-T they miscalculated the coat check room. It only had room for a couple people to stand in front of it in a four by four space.

So they locked the door to the dance floor and threw all the coats, purses, etc out on the floor. Only a certain few could get to them until they opened the door.

A couple of young ladies indicated when they did get there, the coats and their purses were gone. Others were in the same state of disbelief.

That is probably the one thing that was overlooked and could cause a riot. In fact I don't see how such a thing could be overlooked, pure stupidity on the organizers part. If you can't take your stuff with you to the floor at least it should be protected.

Young people often get blamed for doing unreasonable things. Most often the group gets blamed for the actions of a few.

I think those young folks should be commended. Under the circumstances they showed great self control. I don't know if I could do that myself.
