Back to Panama City Beach

After an overnight stay in a motel that just happened to be across the street from the Waffle House, not much can be said.

The return trip to Panama City Beach was relatively smooth except for two construction projects. Each time was one of those deals where traffic suddenly comes to a halt and you wait for a ‘Follow Me’ vehicle to show up.

It was perhaps a little ironic that the map bitch on the GPS would say each time: “You are still on the fastest route. Your arrival time is xx hours and xx minutes,” and only while we were sitting still waiting for Follow Me.

The final day was sunny, mainly light traffic and uneventful. We were glad to get back to Panama City Beach – so we could sit on the beach and feel the temperature drop.
