Computer Travel Tips – Power Box Charging Station
Since going south last winter and probably doing so again this year I have run across a few computing type problems.
One is all the power brick type chargers and cords that we have to take with us. Cell phone, camera, bluetooth headsets, the list could go on and on.
If I stay at a motel there is always the question of where to plug everything in, and the fear is leaving one of those charger devices behind.
I had seen various commercial charger stands at some department stores that could not be called cheap, and they certainly were not made for continuous traveling.
I developed my own solution for less than $5. to $8. depending on where you get the parts. This is easy to use, keeps all those chargers together and easy to toss into the trunk or back of your SUV.
If you travel and take your electronic goodies along, you may be interested in making something similar. You can find the details on our main site here.
