Time Management

This is not an instructional piece on how to manage your time. It is about my time.

This year our visit south where winters are fun has been the best ever. The daytime temperatures were always shirt sleeve compatible, and only a minimal amount of rainy days. Panama City Beach became not only a fun spot to be, but a headquarters for our travels as well.

Our journeys included not only some local activities, but excursions to Orlando for a week, where we stayed for a week, while touring the city of Orlando, checked out a luxury villa, and spent some time at the Universal Walk.

Best of all a trip to San Antonio, Texas. Not once did it ever occur to me I would ever be in Texas in my lifetime. But we made the trip, and it was the best ever, educational, enjoyable all the way, and our hosts there were the best there can possibly be.

At my departure time last fall I  promised lots more pictures, some stories and other trivia of our journeys. My intention was sincere when I said that. There are certainly lots of pictures and videos, some will require editing, and I took notes along the way so I have a few stories to relate to.

The misfortune this year is that we ended up with an extremely slow internet connection, slower than dial-up. Uploading 5 minutes of video to YouTube for example, takes well over 10 hours. Back at our home, this would take maybe 5 – 10 minutes at most. So any large uploads had to be put on hold until our return to Canada.

In less than a week and a half we will begin our journey back to Nova Scotia where we will be able to organize our time and get some slide shows and videos online once again. This sounds like an excuse, and it is – dial-up speed on cable is very frustrating.
