Wandering Around Orlando
Been spending the last few days in Orlando, Fl. The land of Disney has lots to do even if you don’t venture to one of the many theme parks.
I’ve mentioned the Webster flea market in previous years, one of the largest anywhere. This year the traffic was backed up in all directions arriving and departing, proving that it is even more popular. Just about anything you can imagine is for sale there, and maybe even some things you can’t imagine. Well worth the experience if you ever get the chance to visit there.
An evening was spent attending Al Capone’s Dinner & Show in Kissimmee. An experience you won’t forget takes you back to the early Chicago days of gangsters and fun. You can read my review of a wonderful entertaining experience on Trip Advisor. Again, an experience like no other for a reasonable price if you get the discount coupon off the internet or from one of the brochures.
We also had a meal at Miller’s Ale House in Orlando. This is an easy place to get to with ample parking. Surrounded by top mounted large screen TVs, it has a sports bar atmosphere. The service was good, the food was good and the prices reasonable too. In fact, some of their in house specials can’t be beat.
Just a few of the places in and around Orlando/Kissimmee, that made our visit successful.
Still another day or so to go. before we return to our winter headquarters in Panama City Beach.
