Rambling and Warning

Well we did finally get a finish to the Daytona 500 on Sunday. Congratulations to Dale.

Its been a busy week on our end.

St. Andrews Mardi Gras

We attended the St. Andrews Mardi Gras on the weekend, which is near Panama City Florida. This was our second or third time, and this year there were more people than ever, and I think twice as noisy. Everyone had a wonderful time as usual.

Gulf World, Panama City Beach

Yesterday we visited Gulf World at Panama City Beach, something we had planned to do the last few years but never seemed to get to it. Yesterday we spent most of the day there enjoying the various shows and learning a lot about sea life.

I am working on some videos from there, sufficient to say the staff and presentations were the best. Oh, and don’t give me the stuff about animals in captivity. The animals and sea residents here are all animal rescues or injured in such a way they are not able to return to normal wild life. Over the winter seasons I have been here, I have observed some of the immediate responses they have dealt with.

And The Warning

I received two emails this week from two main Canadian banks, saying there were unusual activities on my accounts and that new security measures had been put in place and that they were suspended until I clicked on the enclosed link to renew and verify my details.

One of the banks I have never had business with in my life.

Needless to say this is a typical scam that never seems to go away. The links and composition are a dead give away. I hope no one is stupid enough to click those links.

If you get such emails from your bank, don’t fall for it. Banks just don’t ask for that stuff by email.
