Visual Stimulation
As humans we have a lot of senses that provide various sensations. Smell, sound, feel, and so on. For some reason it hit me today that visual stimulation is a big part of our lives.
How wonderful it is to be able to see different shapes, different colours, whether something is stopped or moving. Even the grays of a misty rainy morning have their place. The solid colours that define objects and help us identify them. The see through lighter colours that are almost transparent, that add so much to our daily lives.
Visual sensations place objects solidly in our minds, through advertisements, television, the internet and in real life. Maybe I am getting old, for these simple things are starting to have real meaning to me. For today I was visually stimulated...
