Not Again!
Snap - Crash. Yep, that is what my main desktop did again. Screen went blank, and on reboot it would only go to a funny blue windows screen with the small logo in the upper right corner. Safe mode would only go that far as well. My last two 2004 Drive Image backups wouldn't work either, said they were corrupt. So I am back to November of 2003, the last backup that would.
I am not sure if it was caused by a virus type file, or Thunderbird, the last program I had tested, and decided not to use. At any rate it caught me off guard as the computer was only sitting there and not being used at the time.
Is this what you call having a bad day? At least I know what I will be doing on the first few days of vacation next week. Install the programs that I had since Nov. of last year. Oh well I am getting to be an expert at this recovery/setup business.
