A to R
There are various cell phone providers A,B,C, etc. All have enticing offers to get you to sign up with their plan, free phones, free air time, you name it. I pays to look into these offers carefully. Look at things like customer service, service coverage, and in fact whether there is any service at all.
Take provider R for example. One of my friends had difficulty with R. Unknowingly, one of my relatives signed up with R. You know the deal, two free phones, three months free everything airtime. They were with A before, and never had any problems, but R had an enticing offer, so they came to be. Because of health problems, these phones are needed in case of emergency.
Here is the story after two weeks. First one of the two phones failed to function and had to be exchanged - after several trips back to R's establishment. Then both phones failed to function about three or four days after that. Repeated trips back and forth to R's authorized dealer resulted in come backs, and put offs with still no working phones. Calls to their help centre said that there data centere was having problems and that they would get back to them. Well that hasn't happened yet, after several days.
I find it interesting they get you to sign a contract for three years, and break it constantly by not providing any kind of service. And they do it time and time again to different people. Ever notice when you are dealing with the alphabet A - R, A is always at the beginning? Maybe there is a reason for that.
