Photo Radar Again

Well it is in the news again. The police want to use photo radar to catch speeders and other traffic violaters. This does raise some important questions. The privacy question has been well discussed and I not sure how that applies unless you are like the couple that sped down the four hundred highway in Ontario making love at high speed.

My questions are much more practical.

1) Will the ladies always have to do their hair and put on makeup before the drive to where ever because they might get their photograph taken. Heaven forbid should their picture appear on a ticket on a bad hair day.

2) Will there be a scrambler to frazzle the picture when it is a police vehicle that speeds or commits a violation when they are not on an emergency call. (Quick turn on the lights.)

3) Let me see some vehicles have the licence plate on the front, some have it on the rear. Will they take you picture coming or going?

My occupation keeps me in traffic almost constantly. I am sick of the amount of violations and agressive driving that is allowed to drive our insurance rates sky high. But I don't think photo radar will help a bit. Get out there with the physical enforcement - use cars and people - do your job. I have to do mine.
