How Does This Make You Feel?
One of today's newspapers has the story of aother credit card fraud.
We all take precautions, or should, to ensure our online activities are secure and safe from the crud of society. But this security breach was caused by unauthorized access to millions of account numbers at a financial organization. This happened in our neighbouring country. Point is, whether you are afraid of online use or not, whenever you use your credit card - anywhere - the information of the transaction is stored on a computer somewhere. Swipe your card at a store and the same internet delivers the scanned data to the 'head bank'. And to make matters worse, they are all inter-connected, world wide. Something to think about as you scan your statements to see if all transactions are really yours.
