Weekly News Summary
The usual number of firearm incidents took place in the city. All the incidents over the past few weeks have taken place in a certain area. If you had a bird’s eye view it would be rectangular in shape, matching the description given by an American aircraft carrier Captain, who got in trouble for providing said description.
I read and heard from various media about the happiness of all the residents in our area regarding the visit of a certain craft to our fair harbour. Funny, not one, not one - person I talked to was at all pleased with the promotion and tax money spent for this event.
Hail stones as big as apples wiped out all the apples in the valley, my home territory sort of speak. Couldn’t we harvest the hail stones and sell them as temporary diamonds or something?
On a lighter note, they came out (again) and said using cell phones while driving is the same as being impaired by liquor or drugs. At least drunks behind the wheel may get caught before someone gets hurt. Cell phone impairment is wide open and not much can be done about it. Heck, they almost run into each other. And that is while they are walking - imagine what they are like driving a car...
