Two items caught my eye over the weekend. One about parents leaving their children at the swimming pools and then taking off. Children as young as five years old. Are these people really parents? That's not the only thing. What about those who allow children that young to ride the bus by themselves. What about parents who send their children to the toy department to play, while they shop? The list could go on. I have another name  rather than parents, but this is a 'G' rated blog.

The next item that got my attention is the number of teenage gangs roaming around that assault and rob lone adults. Bad enough this happens in the wee hours, but now it is ongoing during early evening time periods.

I wonder if these two situations are connected? Something has to be done.
