One of my favourite plants is the cactus. I can't tell you why except for these reasons:

* It reminds me of a cucumber but with longer spines.

* Even when things are a little dry, it still survives.

* In between flowers (blossoms) is a long time, but it does.

* It grows slowly, but is exceptionally stable on a small base.

* It goes without water for a long time without the size of a camel.

* All those little pricks keep your distance.

How many would it take to make a lawn?
