Flash Your Amber Light
Wink: Borrow money from pessimists - - they don't expect it back.
This is a message for all those people with 4x4s that plow driveways, etc. during winter snowfalls.
Flashing amber lights mean caution, whether on your vehicle, a traffic control device, or out in the woods somewhere.
* It does not give you any priority.
* It does not give you the right to back out of a driveway in front of me.
* You don't need it on when you are driving down the street. We know you have a plow and a roof light. Big deal.
* It does not give you the right to plow snow from a driveway across a street or into the street.
* There are regulations for installing and using flashing amber lights. You can't go buy one and just stick it on your vehicle.
The reason I mention this is that flashing amber lights are becoming far too common, to the point that most drivers ignore them. They are so common place that the warning aspect rates right up there with rustspots. Lets face it, it would be hard to drive one kilometre and not see at least one flashing amber light on a vehicle.
