Wink: Identical parts aren't - Beach's Law
Brought to our attention on the news today that this is Canada Flag day, the birth of our flag. I remember back then when the powers were trying to decide the design, one maple leaf or three with quite a controversy. Finally it was decided the single maple leaf was the way it was going to be.
Canadians are not known as flag wavers as some countries are, but I think you will agree our flag is one to be proud of.
I can't think of any symbol, icon, graphic or any way it can be represented to be any more recognizable than our flag. Whether large or tiny, flying in the wind, on the tail of an aircraft, or the shoulder of one of our forces members it stands out.
The red bars, the red maple leaf on the white background is ours, world wide...
