You'll Like It
The one phrase that is the most confusing to me is: "You'll like it". No, it irks (polite word) me!
We're going to a show or play - "You'll like it", before I've even seen it.
At a restaurant you have this weird looking gobbly-gook stuff on your plate - Try it, "You'll like it".
My question is, how do you know what I like? You don't!
Lets look at this a little closer, "You'll like it".
In the case of a movie or show of some kind, how can anyone tell if I like it. Geeze I don't even know if I like it if I haven't seen it yet.
Or some strange food, if I have never had or tasted it in my life, I wouldn't have any idea if I liked it or not. So how do you?
Because you do doesn't mean I do and if I do I don't know it and neither do you.
So please don't tell me anymore "You'll like it", and I won't be writing like this and "You'll like it"!
