Can I Sleep In Your Banquet Room?

Our time in sunny warm Florida is soon to end for another year. Months have passed quickly and planning for the return trip to home has begun.

Banquet & Meeting Rooms

I do a certain amount of research for lodging on our way, using popular online tools such as Expedia, Trip Advisor and Yelp to name a few. The reviews and information provide a good insight as to what is available in different areas.

Often pictures are provided by the owners and customers to show what the establishment looks like.

Park In Front

I prefer motels with “outside hallways” or “park in front” as they are often called. So I need a good shot of the exterior of the place if the details are not in the description.

What do the owners often provide? An exterior picture of their sign, the lobby, banquet room, meeting rooms,  and so on, with the usual typical views of the rooms showing a close-up of the bed or a bathroom shelf.

bed7I’m not going to sleep in your banquet room. I’m not going to sleep in your meeting room. You wouldn’t like that and neither would I. So how about a nice exterior picture to show whether you have ‘park in front’ facilities and what the surroundings really look like?  Granted some business travelers need the meeting room information. The average traveler does not.

Now is that one parking space or two?
