Sunday was kind of a lazy day for us today, and when supper time rolled around the question of what to have for supper came around.

After numerous thoughts and suggestions we remembered  that we still had a Chick fil A gift certificate in our possession. Perfect!

Or so we thought.

After driving a few miles through heavy spring breaker traffic, and a couple left turns through slow left turn arrow lanes, we arrived at the local Chick fil A.

That’s rare, the parking lot is empty. No lights on inside either. Is the thing open? Nope!

Of course it isn’t,  - its Sunday.  We remembered distinctly the last time we were there, seeing the plaque on the wall. “Never on Sunday, our employees deserve a break too.” 

What a novel idea. Why aren’t more businesses like that?

Yes, we will check the memory chip.
