"RoseGarden" - - - - - - - from - nscave

As you can see, RoseGarden has been missing for a few days, reason being I have been on the road traveling a bit for a change of pace.

Even though we scan the headlines each day while on the move, its always nice to get back, relax and really dig into the news.  Or is it?

The first thing that catches my eye in my home town newspaper is this article on “Frosting.” Is that a new word or what? Has a new meaning been added to the dictionary? This is news?

Then I go to another section with some information that includes information on a Second Chance program. If I had a business, apparently, quote, “A REFORMED drug dealer can make an excellent employee.” And later, “They should view this as an opportunity to hire an intelligent, dedicated and productive employee.” That would be great for my business? If I had one. I would have to do some assessment on this. Can this be news?

As I continue on looking for news, maybe I found some. As soon as I get back to home territory I have to get my income tax prepared and paid. I have always had to pay, never had a refund.  I worked my butt off at two careers to be sure I had enough after retirement.

If I were able to do my days over again, I wouldn’t have done that.  Maybe I found the reason. This is news.
