Often when writing you have to be careful with words. Spelling can change the meaning, or how words are put together even more so. Even when speaking, you have to word it right.

 

 

 

On our recent trip to Gulf World, this was really pointed out to us. At noon time we strolled up to the local canteen  inside and ordered the usual hot dogs and soft drinks.

 

 

 

“Just small drinks,” we instructed the person behind the counter.

 

 

 

“Small?” she asked.

 

 

 

“Yeah small,” we explained, “Those medium ones are large to us. Give us a small, like a kids size.”

 

 

 

“Sure,” the lady said. “No problem.”

 

 

 

Well here’s what we got!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can’t say we didn’t get what we asked for. Life as a senior is a ball.
