I finally figured it out!
I finally figured it out. Those morons that don’t stop at stop signs, are saving fuel. It is well known that it takes less fuel to slow down and keep a vehicle moving than it does to come to a complete stop and start again. We used to teach it by reading the traffic ahead and planning your movements. This new way requires no thought.
Same thing with traffic lights. They just run the red instead of stopping. Saves fuel. Let the other guy worry about stopping.
Speeders? You got it. If they keep a steady speed (at 160 km) it saves fuel. No stopping and starting up again. Sure I realize you burn less fuel at 90 km than at 100 km. But they travel at that speed all the time anyway. So if they can pass on curves, zig zag back and forth in front of everyone and maintain that speed, they are saving fuel.
By George I think I got it – I figured those A-Moles out!
