You must know someone who reads a book and gets to a humourous part and laughs out loud. Or a person that reads the comics and laughs loudly by themselves. Then there is the person that reads a joke or email on the internet and laughs out loud by themselves.

Why do they do this?

Are you supposed to ask them what they are laughing at, is that the idea? Do they expect you to rush to them and say what is so funny? Are they laughing because they have some secret piece of comedy that they are not willing to share? Are you supposed to beg them to let you in on what is so funny?

If you are in this category perhaps you have an answer. I enjoy a good laugh as well as anybody. But what I think is funny you probably don’t. When you are laughing to yourself I don’t see or feel anything humourous.

However, enjoy yourself. Funny world isn’t it?
