It's Different When You Have Been There
It is with great sadness and unbelievable awe that I watch the damage and despair taking place in the southern US. I can’t imagine how awful it would be to lose your entire house and everything you own, let alone lose your entire subdivision and city or town.
I had the pleasure of attending a course for a few months at Kesler airforce base in Biloxi, Mississippi back in the 60’s. I am very familiar and fond of the area from Gulfport to New Orleans. Even though there would have been many changes since then, it is amazing how many of the scenes I recognize on CNN. The highways, beaches, resort areas, - all gone and under water.
The weather patterns are changing very quickly around the world. I just hope it is not the beginning of the end.
