Tops
Tops – yeah the topic for today is tops. There are a lot of tops and this is only a sample to get you going.
Milk Carton Tops – most seniors hate them. The screw on part is hard enough for fingers that don’t work like they used to, but that pull out sealer top is just too much.
Speaking of Milk Tops – remember when there was such a thing as ‘milk bottles’? And they had the funky cardboard top that just sat on the top of the bottle in a little groove. Didn’t need the security of a plastic sealed vandal proof block everything top then.
Minute Maid Juice Box Tops – The product may be good, but they sure don’t know how to make tops. Once it is open, shake the carton and you have a new plaid shirt. Squeeze the carton and you will be blinking with heavy eyelids.
Child Proof Tops – you know, the pill bottle kind. Twist and turn as you might and they won’t give. Give them to a child and they pop them off in seconds.
Box Tops – you know the kind. They are on cereal, waffles, and nearly everything. After you tear along the dotted line, they have a tab that fits into a little slot that keeps the box closed and contents fresh. Well they don’t work for me. Either the tab is too short and it won’t fasten, or both flaps go down into the box with the contents.
Clothing Tops – these I like best. Usually they fit good. They certainly look good. And they come off easily.
