RCID

Don’t think there isn’t anything happening in the Dungeon because there is. I just delayed reporting it in hopes it would get better. And it does day by day.

Poor MouseGuy hasn’t any office space yet, so has to hop back and forth between Microbit and Keyboards computers to check his email and “stuff”. Mind you Microbit isn’t much better off in the space she has cause the walls keep tumblin’ in.

Anyway this dual problem often makes for some interesting conversation that should not be repeated here. For example when MouseGuy needs to log on to our local LAN system it often goes like this. “You on?” “Yean I’m on. No I’m off. I mean I am finished, you can put me off if you want to.” “Okay I will go on.” What the heck is going on in that cubicle?

If that wasn’t serious enough, they both suffer from RCI. That’s Remote Control Incapacitation. Pretty entertaining, enough that I am considering making a short movie for no distribution.

It seems that the projector will work just fine. But when it is time to show a video, pay attention. The screen goes blurry, pause, then everything on the computer appears on the screen. Now stand by for the RCID. That’s  Remote Control Incapacitation Dance time. Point it up. Point it down. Point it Right, Point it Left, Point it all around.

Now that part is understandable. Many people find remote contols hard to master. Finally the show is on. But wait that is not the funny part, well, it sort of is, but there is more. When the movie is over, it will not stop.  Remote Control Incapacitation Dance time. Point it up. Point it down. Point it Right, Point it Left, Point it all around. The movie runs into the next segment, which is supposed to be reserved for tomorrow.

Now it’s the mad 10.7 metre dash to the back room to hit the VCR stop button. Sheesh movie done. No live students were harmed during this live episode.
