Is Email Becoming Useless?
Email Useless? I am beginning to wonder. I have four email accounts that I check daily. One of them is toast because it averages thirty something spam items a day. Another receives from two or three to ten or so. My provider supplied email receives about ten to a dozen spam entries a day. My web page is slightly better because it is a secure system.
I have tried certain spam blockers, some work, some are useless and others in between. Thing is, spam wastes a lot of time. Each message title has to be scanned to weed out the good email. In fact on several occasions I have almost deleted good email because I get so fed up with this scan process.
That is why I wonder if email is becoming useless, because good messages may get lost in the process. My patience runs thin in that regard. I found the solution for my bulletin board, which is sitting unused at the present time because spam became a problem. That is fixed and I may get time to get it going again once I get through all the useless email.
Spam is here to stay, but there has to be a better way, than spam email taking up half my day!
