“So Many Things To Do And No Time To Do It”
Again the blog is being neglected a little bit. I think I can write a country song, “So Many Things To Do And No Time To Do It”.
As previously stated, I have been fighting over a TV that failed back in December and is not on the go yet. Setting up a restricted web page with an action plan on it, giving the full details, and emailing some ‘higher ups’ may have helped. I have been promised a newer model, larger than the one I had, due to arrive in a week or week and a half.
This means the couch may have to be removed from the living room with only room for the TV .
On another note, interesting to listen to all the complaining about the recent snow storm we had last week. This was the first real storm of the season. Now I have mentioned here before that a lot of snow crews don’t know what they are doing anymore, and being out of practise due to lack of snow only compounds that problem.
What gets me is the people that bitch about the sidewalks not being cleared the very next morning. You gotta give them a chance, moving snow takes time, especially when the street plows push it on the sidewalk and the smaller units have to cut holes through all that.
Then again, to balance that out we have the plows, Bobcats, and backhoes going around trying to clean out the curb drains. I spend a lot of years on snow removal, - how does that work? Do they have vacuums on them now? In my day that pushed the snow into the drain access grilles.
Maybe it is something along the lines of “water runs uphill” and “hot air goes down”!
