Proves The News Is Useless As Ever

Flag Flap

The controversy goes on about flying a certain flag over the govenrment buildings in a town about 45min drive from here. A rights case? Come on get real. If Canadian Tire wanted to fly their flag over those buildings, would they let them? Or would that be a rights case? Or how about Molson's? Their flag is kind of cute.

I think to be reasonable to all, only two flags should be allowed flown over any government buildings. That is the Canadian flag, and its provincial counter part.

Fat Free Policy

Well we have fat free french fries, so now we need a fat free policy for the clubs in the city. Well that was the opinion of some last week in our central location of the city. Now you just know by the expressions in the photos and the tone, that there is more to this story than that. So another topic that made filler news in more than one media outlet. More rights? Yeah okay!

4 Stabbed

At least this story had some facts behind it. But people yelling police brutality when they are trying to stop the mess. How's that saying go, "if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen"? Let me tell you if I was part of that cleanup crew I wouldn't be worrying about damaging their ego, or other body parts. Best part is the people bitch about those doing their job, and two minutes later bitch because they are not.

Politician Cottages

We'll end with the one about a certain official or officials not paying the same costs as those in the private sector. I say officials because if you read deep it looks like it is organized. Hard to say if the complainers are truly upset because they are getting a raw deal or because the party wasn't the party they thought it was. Kind of like disco country style.

That's my point of view for this weekend, lets do it . . .
