Webster Flea Market
Webster Flea Market
One of the first places on the visiting list after an overnight stay at Liki Tiki the famed no free internet resort, was an hour drive or so to the Webster flea market.
This well done video along with others on this page will give you an idea of what its like, much better than the still pictures I took. I wasn’t kidding when I said in the last post that two people are often occupying the same space at the same time. There is no pushing or shoving or anything like that, but be prepared to stand and go no where one minute, and the next get misguided to a row where you didn’t plan on being.
Anything you can think of is on sale here, new, used and I’m not sure. Everything from cars, vegetables to $4. Slap Choppers can be had and a little haggling is expected.
One thing that seemed to be just as prominent as anywhere else, as soon as you bought something for a ridiculous low price, you would find the same item a little further on for even less than the good deal you just made.
I didn’t get much, did more looking than buying, even forgot what I went there for, (I remember now, but it’s a little late.) I settled for a big box of those big fat Florida strawberries. More expensive than usual because of the freaky frosty Florida freezies, but they were some dang good ya all!
