Adventure Time

The blogs have been few and far between lately due to the fact there hasn’t been much going on. Temperatures in this area of Florida have been averaging in the – 3 C. to 5 C. degrees at night, and highs of 12 C. during the day.(That would be approximately 32 deg. F. to 41 deg. F at night, 54 deg. F daytime.) I am beginning to wonder if this is going to be the normal trend in years ahead as this is the second year of those temperatures and they are lasting longer this year.

This meant excitement material for the blog is not as abundant as it should be. Sure we have lots to keep us busy as the traveling is great, taking in some shows and other functions, but little beach weather so far.

Speaking of shows, we did go to a RV show a few weeks ago, at Dixie RV Superstore where the motor home of my dreams caught my attention. It was only $273,000. on special for the show. Acres of all kinds of motorhomes and trailers. Now I know what the term “Land Yacht” really means.

Speaking of the RV show, I somehow managed to win the daily give away prize, worth close to a hundred bucks. No, it wasn’t a motorhome. It was a fancy RV sewer hose, and a set of levellers. Thanks Dixie RV.

What the heck am I going to do with those? The people in our snowbird group say: “Now you have to get a trailer.”

That’s kind of like buying a garage door opener and building a garage around it – isn’t it?

We are departing on an adventure starting tomorrow to warmer parts of the state of Florida and beyond. This will include Fort Lauderdale, the Florida Keys and intermediate points. There should be a blog story or two there.
