Lucky Enough
Beach – Its hard to do what I am supposed to do for the blog when you have beach days like these.
Waves rolling in, crashing on the sand, the unique smell of sea air, temperature in the high seventies and oh so soothing. Sea gulls standing in the sand and gliding above, wondering why so many humans are invading their territory.
And people, lots of people, young and old sharing all this goodness, taking in the sun whether it is good for you or not.
Overhead the local tour helicopter is busy, with steady trips back and forth every few minutes. I am glad for them. We took a ride in the 'chopper' last year and there is no better view of Panama City Beach. We likely will go again soon.
A lone plane towing an advertising banner passes regularly overhead in the blue sky. Small boats cruise back and forth off shore in the emerald green water.
Spring break has begun as the bikinis are plentiful, as are the young guys trying to impress them.
Whoever said it first is correct: “Life is Good. If you are lucky enough to be at the beach, you are lucky enough.”
