I bought some invisible tape, now I can't find it.

Thank goodness the Christmas shopping experience is almost over, although at times it is an educational experience.

It amazes me that they can come up with a new chopper every year that works better than anything else ever invented. Well they don't have to change the script much for the TV ads.

New innovations pop up every year. The Fat Magnet. Now who wouldn't want one of those? Works some slick according to the TV guy. Weight watchers will be upset when they discover what happens when you stick that thing on your belly.

And a water clock. Come on, you're interested aren't you? How does it work? How do you set it? What's the water do? Now you can combine daylight saving time with water conservation.

I am a little disappointed that I couldn't find my favourite new items. Double sided suction cups for example.

They aren't fooling me though. I was going to buy some invisible ink. I could see liquid in the bottle, so it wasn't invisible right? I'm not falling for that one.

On  more serious note, we are enjoying the first part of our winter here in Panama City Beach. The best December yet with temperatures in the middle 20s for you folks back home, middle 70s for the rest.

A first time Panama City Beach Christmas display was kind of unique. Its a combined light show/display consisting of several blocks of lights and animation. Everything from projected video on a multi-story building to underwater projections and sound on the white sand.

We thought it was a nice display, something different from the usual Christmas displays. (We are in the process of editing some video and still pictures which we hope to post soon.)  Every single person working for this display was so friendly and really into making the experience an enjoyable one for everybody.

We also attended the Raiders family country show for our second time. This is truly a family show of generations of performers who truly enjoy being on stage for everyone.

Some are professionals, were professionals  or probably will be professionals, with Grandpas, Fathers, Sons, Daughters, Wives, and Grand-children who get together for a family fun show for everyone.

Its Christmas

Earlier we had attended a Christmas concert in Lynn Haven, also our second time.  A professional production with an orchestra, choir, and performers young and old.

The production was very good with lights and sound similar to what you would see on an expensive TV show.

These shows were free, or a small donation or a very low cost. You can’t beat that. Panama City Beach is the place to be for us.
