It's easy to tell a snowbird, but what's a local?

  Local resident? How long to qualify?

Born, raised & live here, that's a local, no problem with that one.

If you live here 4 months of the year, are you a local?

If you live here 6 months of the year, are you a local?

If you live here 6 months of the year and own your house, are you a local?

What if you stay for a year, does that make you a local?

If you return every year and stay the same length of time, are you a local?

  Let me check again. Was that "local" or "loco"?
