Moonshine
Went to another live show here in Panama City Beach yesterday. Moonshine, one of the Rader family members put on a very entertaining performance of song, jokes and some bantering around.
This was our second time, having attended his show last year as well. You can’t beat the price (free), although they do pass the bucket around for donations, as well as sell some CDs and he has quite a variety to select from.
It was basically a one man show, with a little help from a prominent brother and Dad, who helped with the comedy routines. The band consisted of some computerized equipment and a remote control, which makes it look easy but I know is a lot of work to get set up and coordinated properly.
Moonshine had the crowd working with him many times throughout the show. Dancing, on stage for vocal assistance (a little comedy there), as well as asking where we were from and so on.
For example, once again the majority of the hundreds in the audience were from the snowbird crowd and he mentioned that it takes a lot of work to set up and run the show even though it looks easy. “It takes a lot of work, you know what that’s like,” he continued, “Anybody here working?”
Not a single hand went up!
All in all a great show, standing ovation at the end. If you ever get the chance to see the Dennis “Moonshine” Raider show, do it.
