Most of the decorations were put away yesterday until next year. I say most, because there are always a couple glitches.

You always find one left over ornament on the tree as you are about to put it away, no matter how carefully you look.

There’s always one decoration left hanging some place after you put the box away. Remember that funny little thing hanging on the outside door knob.

The Christmas doormat is still outside by the door too.

I expect in a week or so we will find at least one other.  

Kind of reminds you when you have to change the time in the spring and fall. Taking down decorations are like time. When you change all the clocks, you always find one two or three days later that didn’t get changed.
