Spring Break Is Here

I mentioned recently that you can tell for sure when spring break is officially here by the condom plane flying overhead towing its fluttery banner.

Well it seems certain people are unhappy about the wording of the banner, or what it suggests. As with most things these days, complainers bring out certain remarks, some official, some not so official.

Advertisers Accomplish Their Purpose

First I would like to say it appears the advertisers have accomplished their purpose. Their product certainly “stands out,” and everyone, not just spring-breakers, now know the name off by heart.

In fact the local newspaper even saw fit to publish an article about the concerns of the condom banner plane.

Concerns – Temporary Agreement

Temporarily grounded they say, so that it “will now be out only on weekends to avoid flying during school hours.”

Seems like a reasonable solution – perhaps. But I have two questions to ask:

1) Don’t your kids look up on the weekends?

2) Or, do you keep them hidden inside on the weekends away from the windows?
