Why Do They Fly Those Things At Night
We are handy one of Canada's largest air force bases. In reality one of the flight lines for one major runway is almost over our house.
I enjoy seeing various aircraft overhead practicing and doing what they have to do.
And a role once again has been assigned where our members are to participate in other parts of the world to ensure the freedom of life we have today.
Night flights are few and far between, but there has been a slight increase lately, I suspect in readiness for their departure to the new assignment.
It didn't take long before we began to hear the comments: "Why are those things flying at night making all that noise." "Is there any need of that?"
I couldn't help thinking. Some people are hearing noise much louder and much worse than that, night and day.
For as far as I know, war, terrorism and those types of things have never been a 9 to 5 job in past history, and I doubt they will be in the foreseeable future.
