Pre-Check

Temporary residents installed, house occupied for the winter, check! Outside things put away, check!  Credit cards advised, check! But they don’t work. Huh? So it seems when advised of travel plans, they also deactivated them. More phone calls, more trips to the bank, more…

Finally all is good, after running, calling, cursing, welcome frustration city.

Departure

So another day, the journey begins. We leave early to avoid the threat of winter. Its raining – hard.  Our first stop over is only several hours away. We arrive on time after little wind and only a bit of rain.

Tomorrow’s Prediction

As we check the weather ahead on the tablet, there are only three weather warning triangles at the top of the screen. High wind advisory says two of them. 7 – 12 inches of snow says the first one. 7 – 12 inches! Say what?

After two months of sunny weather we were supposed to avoid that.
