Communication
How communication has changed over the last few years. Why do we need to communicate so much. Here I sit writing this blog, which is a form of communicating. My cell phone is close by and I just received a text message on that. I replied to the text message using this computer. My land line rang and I talked to Mom for a few minutes, while I was answering a friends message on MSN Messenger.
During this time my wife asked if I was going to have a snack, just as I was checking my email. The cat wanted its nightly pat at the same time. That's nine communications all at the same time (nothing to do with 9 lives), all without getting out of my chair - no wonder I am tired in the morning...
