Hard Times Good Times
Hard Times
So far this has been the worst lead up to the Christmas season I ever had. You see, my drivers licence expires at the end of the month, since I am a New Years baby. To renew said licence I have to have a medical, which my company normally pays for if you go to the company doctor. So I made an appointment back in November for their earliest oppportunity, Dec. 13. Mid morning on the 13th I received a call that the appointment was cancelled because the doctor wasn't going to be in. Appointment was rescheduled for Dec. 20.
You guessed it, miday on the 20th that appointment was also cancelled because the doctor was ill. (Hey imagine that, doctors get sick too. Is that permitted?) Due to little time left, I had no choice but to go to my family doctor on short notice. Well guess what, he would do the medical part, but not the eye section.
So now I have to wait until tomorrow for an eye check with the eye doctor. This leaves me only one day to get paperwork done for licence renewal. I have spent more time running around getting pissed off, rather than a joyful lead in to the Christmas season. No wonder I say "Bah-Humbug!"
Good Times
Well the good times is that my web page is finally moved to a new host and a new name (www.nscave.com) , which gives me mega space for stuff. After a few adjustments and some growing pains, I expect to have a much improved as well as expanded site. So drop by from time to time and have a look.
