Bring It On - The Heat Is On Telemarketers!

Well, today I get a call, but this time caller ID says Long Distance, Unknown Number. (Not a problem by the way.)

I answer "hello, hello,.....helllo, ....helllo..................". finally a lady answers with the cheery "can I speak to..." "Why did you take so long to answer?" I asked. She replied: "Because it is an automatic dialer." In a stern, but emphatic voice I said: "Look I am constantly getting these calls and no one answers from marketers. I suggest you remove this number from your list immediately"

Well hot damn here's her reply: "You better be more polite or I will call you tomorrow." My reply: "I am polite, but being very stern with you because this has become a problem. Do not threaten me with more calls. If you do call me tomorrow, I will report you to my telephone provider, and to Telecomunications Canada. Have a nice day, bye now!" I did hang up the phone while she was still babbling.

Well telemarketers, be darned if you didn't catch me in a competitive mood. Son of a gun, the heat is on. I am going to beat you at your own game. I consider this to be harassment. I pay for the phone, it is my assigned number.

Ever hear of reverse harassment telemarketers? You have now!
