Two Periods > The Answer
Actually I selected two periods for a reason, believe it or not. It means (from my point of view), that the topic has ended. But there could be more. I don't supply it, you do. It is half way between a single period, and three periods, right?
Show you what I mean, if I write:
My kids, her kids, our kids..
You get to fill in the rest, it makes your mind work.
Now if I write it differently:
His kids, her kids, their kids..
Your mind fills it in differently, correct?
Or try it this way:
Her kids, his kids, their kids..
See how I am providing the thought, or the direction, but you finish the story? And each reader will have their own individual finishing thought process.
That is why many of my blogs end with two periods instead of one or three. Not only that, I get a whole blog out of explaining it.
