Watch Those Letters
Talking about periods a few days ago got me thinking about something else. I have found since I started running a commercial web site, plus this blog, plus starting a bulletin board that it requires a fair chunk of time. Time management helps, but I still find I tend to do things faster. No lets put it another way. I tend to do more things in the same time frame which gives the illusion of being faster, sometimes with the risk of less accuracy.
Take for example when I first posted the link to Death Clock. I touch type, and sometimes my fingers get ahead of my eyes, or is it the other way around? Anyway, I left the 'L' out of the word clock. Good thing I took the time to proof read. The better half got a good laugh out of that one.
I sent a rather important email to a person whose first name is Fern. Being somewhat formal it started out: Dead Fern, This is to remind you... What a difference a letter can make. Good thing I took the time to proof read.
So isn't it amazing that with all our modern technology, the basics are still the most important.
